Rocco's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rocco's Story...
Rocco is our longest running foster. And we don't mind at all. This dreamboat is 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He's an easy keeper who is great with all people, loves kids, and is CRAZY about other dogs, but prefers a feline-free home. He's a higher energy dog, who needs regular, daily exercise and would do best with a family that wants a dog to include in all their adventures.

We have fallen in love with this boy. He's so sweet and gentle. He especially loves puppies and would be great in a home that wanted to foster the teenies! We would love to see him go to an active home with another dog. He needs the company. He's sad without a friend. He's a cuddler to the extreme. If you're laying on the couch, he has to be touching you. He would do best in an active home that would run him or take him hiking or anything where he can burn off energy! He'd make a great running partner. They don't come any sweeter than this boy. And he's even more handsome in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a Lincoln American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
