Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lulu is a sweet senior girl. She is believed to be around 8 years old and was dropped off at a shelter presumably by a breeder. Lulu had very bad skin and ear infections when she first came into the rescue and will need to be kept on a good quality grain and chicken free food.
She is very loving & has a playful side. However, when she gets too excited she has a tendency to be a “humper”, but when told “no” she usually goes back to being a respectable older lady. Her foster mom uses a spray water bottle which works!!
When prompted she will go to the door to go potty outside & loves sleeping all night on her doggie bed. She is not toy or food aggressive, but she has shown signs of wanting to be the dominant dog in the house so it is best if she is in a home with submissive dogs and no cats. She does love to play with her fur-brother and her foster mom thinks she would be too lonely without another fur-kid to play with.
She’s OK in her crate for short periods of time, but prefers to be sprawled out on the couch snuggling with whoever is already on the couch. She likes kids, but because of her dominant tendencies Lulu needs to be with children of 14 years and older. She is healthy & UTD on vaccines.

All adopters must live in Ohio, or within a 2 hour driving distance of the border.
We do not adopt out to families with children under 8 years old.
