Lilypad's Story...
My name is Lilypad. I am a beautiful, fluffy 14 week old female tuxedo kitty. I was rescued with my brothers as a tiny little baby. Our mom was feral so we weren't too sure about humans at first but with some love and time we have learned that humans aren't so bad after all. I was a little stubborn so it took a little longer for me to come around but now I am a very sweet girl. I love head rubs, playing with feather toys, chasing balls and wrestling with the other kittens I live with. I would love a forever family that would be patient with me and understand that I may be a little shy at first. I'm ready to go home with you today and show you a lifetime of love. AA

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilypad, a Houston Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
