My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COCO is a 10-month old spayed chocolate female Lab who weighs 70 pounds (and may be still growing)! She's your typical energetic, happy, loving young pup. She will need an adopter committed to exercising her every day, training her and giving her love and attention. Coco will pay it back ten times over! She's approved for kids aged 10+. More info + pics soon!

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.

From LR evaluator: Coco has plenty of boisterous puppy energy. She was left at the shelter by her owners. She will benefit from lots of walks and/or a fenced in yard to play in. Chases ball; doesn't return it. Great with other dogs. No cat history. Approved for kids 10 and up, no kid history. Wanted attention; forgot about toys. Took treats nicely. Needs a harness/gentle leader: she is very strong. Healthy girl with a healthy weight. She wants to please; with some guidance/training and lots of playtime she will do just fine. She settled after we were out in the yard a few minutes. No touch issues/no lumps or bumps. You could tell she was allowed to cuddle. Super friendly! A really nice puppy!
