This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Papi
GENDER: Male (Neutered)

We have quickly fallen in love with Papi at CRT, and we know you will too.
Papi is actually a handsome Pomeranian with soft, soft fur. Unfortunately Papi's human passed away a few months ago. He spent the next 4 months in boarding, as there was no one to step up and provide a home for him. The boarding facility called CRT (thinking he was a long hair Chihuahua), told us how awesome this little guy was, and asked if we could help him find love again. How could we say no?
Papi is now safely with CRT. We are looking for a new forever home for him to help him live out his later years in life. According to his vet records, Papi is about 14 years old. That really surprised us as he has a great level of energy. He is a spunky little guy with alot of life in him! He is healthy, and we believe has some great years left to share.
Papi is a relaxed, low maintenance little guy. He gets along great with the other small dogs in his foster home. He is quiet. The only time he barks is when you come home. Then, he loves to greet you at the door and bark "welcome home, I missed you!".
Papi loves to observe the kingdom (household) from the couch. As a matter of fact - he will often climb to the top of the couch so he can see it all. He hates to miss any of the action! Papi is a HUGE lap dog. He loves being right up next to you or on your lap as you watch TV. If you like a loyal dog who will hang with you all day - this is your guy.
Papi is toally housebroken. He adapts quickly to your routines. He also LOVES to sleep in bed with his humans. If you are looking for a little guy with medium energy and a high cuddle factor - this is your guy.
Papi deserves to live out his life with bundles of love. Won't you open your heart and your home to him?
Papi is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could you be his perfect home?
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption fee required.
