Oscar's Story...
Oscar is a sweet miniature schnauzer that came to us from a nearby shelter. He is guessitmated to be around 7 to 8 years old. He is a laid back guy who loves to be near you and give kisses but he would do best as an only dog. Oscar is grey/silver and weighs 20lbs. He does have bad flea allergies must be kept on flea prevention. Also due to neglect he had to have several teeth pull but still eats no trouble. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Oscar is house trained to a doggie door. If you would like to give this sweet little man his forever home please click here to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a North Little Rock Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in North Little Rock, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in North Little Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Little Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Little Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Little Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
