Bizzy is a fun, snugly, playful, and lovable, five-month-old, 21-pound, black and white male Border Collie/Lab-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Bizzy has two speeds … calm, snugly and sleepy, and fun and zoomy when he plays with other dogs! Since I’ve been fostering him, he spends his day snuggling against my leg while I work on the computer, chewing his bones and Himalayan chews, or bouncing around the yard with my other dogs.
Bizzy makes a bit of noise at times when initially crated, so he might not be the best companion for someone in an apartment or condo with easily annoyed neighbors. But he eventually calms down. He is all puppy and while doing beautifully with his housebreaking, he has the occasional accident if he doesn’t go outside often enough. He also tends to counter-surf, or finds something fun to chew on like my shoes or notebook.
At night, Bizzy sleeps the whole night through cuddled in bed with the rest of the pack. He is fabulous with dogs who are tolerant of puppies, and fine with cats – perhaps a little fearful of them, as he should be.
Bizzy was originally turned in as part of an unwanted litter of puppies in rural Jackson County, Illinois. He’s an amazingly happy, sweet and well-socialized boy who already knows to sit for a treat and walks nicely on leash. With a little patience, training, daily exercise and love, he will make a fabulous companion.
