Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brandy was rescued from a local kill shelter where she had been brought in as a stray. She soon became a shelter staff favorite because she is so sweet and adorable and as soft as a rabbit. Brandy obviously belonged to someone because she was so social and friendly with people, but no one ever came to claim her. Kitten season was in full swing and the shelter called Furry Friends and asked if they had room in their foster program for her. They couldn't stand the thought of euthanizing such a sweet and precious kitten, yet they were out of space and needing cage space for the incoming cats that were coming in. Brandy initially did not like the other cats in her foster home and probably had been an only kitty; however, she is young and within a few days was hanging out and playing with them. She now is super chill with everyone and everything - kids, cats and dogs. She has beautiful coloring with gold undertones in her silky soft fur. Please open your heart and your home to this young adorable kitten. You'll be so glad you did!!!
UPDATE: Brandy was adopted out in November to a family that lived in the country and said they wanted an inside only cat. However, they really wanted a mouser and they let Brandy go outside. They called Furry Friends last week wanting to return her because their dog had attacked her and they were "afraid he would kill her." Sigh. Brandy has a large healing wound on her back with some smaller puncture wounds, but she seems to be healing up nicely. Brandy has been through a lot, but is still a very friendly loving cat. She doesn't seem to have issues with the dogs in her foster home, amazingly. If you can give this beautiful sweet kitty a forever inside home, please fill out an application and be prepared for love!
