Lexie's Story...
Helloooooo World! My name is Lexie, and I am one happy girl! I had been living in the shelter for a while, but FOR came along and sprung me, and I am now loving life! They say that I am a Catahoula Mix, under one year of age, and that I weigh 38 pounds. I’m looking for an active family to call my very own. My foster family has been biking, hiking, and running with me and I LOVE it! So, if you are looking for an exercise buddy, look no further, I’m your girl! I’m crate trained, and working hard on the house training thing. I haven’t had an accident in several days. I just need a little patience to get used to a new home, and then I’ll be your best friend! Want to meet me, please email info@FORrescue.net. I'm fostered in Madison, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Huntsville Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
