Henry-ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
There are many, many Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) lovers in the dog world...it's considered to be one of the most desirable breed mixes. This is due to their consistently great temperaments and intelligence (some would say this is the Poodle's contribution to the mix). There's also no question that they're strikingly beautiful with their cotton-soft, flowing hair and soft and expressive eyes. Henry is a stunning salt and pepper Schnoodle with silvery/golden touches through his silky coat..gorgeous! Once he has a spa day..Henry will be the handsomest Schnoodle around! Henry is about 9 - 12 months old and about 15 lbs and so sweet and affectionate. He would be a perfect companion for long hikes along the amazing CO trails...such fun for him! And at day's end, he loves nothing more than to cuddle against his favorite people and periodically give a loving kiss. Henry seems to have overcome any ill feelings regarding his early life. He was in a very high-kill shelter and had run out of options but his great personality and sweet ways earned him a ticket to a new life in Colorado. It appears that Henry has learned to live in harmony with every kind of being...he was great with every person who greeted him at transport with a hug and a snuggle. He seems to have derived a true calmness and peace from his rescue and the possibilities of a new and forever family. We feel strongly that Henry's forever family should have the motivation to continue his socialization and offer him the gift of obedience training classes. He's so gorgeous both inside and out that he deserves a family that appreciates the gift of his temperament and is willing to show him boundaries through love and time spent. We are searching for committed retirees or a family with older children as a forever home for Bradley. He would enjoy the time spent together and would blossom with a family that considers their dog a valued member of their family. We feel that Bradley would be great as on only dog. While he enjoys the company of a playful dog-friend, it's not mandatory for his happiness...it's more the companionship of a truly loving guardian and Henry will return this loyalty and devotion a thousand times over.
Henry is a non-shedding guy who has been unkempt for quite a time...but underneath (with great nutrition) is a stunning coat waiting to emerge. He'll require periodic grooming by a calm and loving groomer who appreciates that Henry is just developing the understanding of the experience.

Henry is currently being fostered in Denver. We're currently accepting applications and setting up Meet and Greets for this exceptional and very loving companion. If interested, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry-ADOPTION PENDING, a Boulder Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
