My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ShaZam is a two year old old Yorkie mix. He weighs about nine pounds, does not shed and could not get any cuter ShaZam is such a sweetheart! He loves everyone that he meets. He is a playful, fund-loving, sweet boy. He gets along with all other dogs of any size.
ShaZam is ready to join her family and share a Wonderful life!

If you are interested in giving ShaZam a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly 901-651-6322 or Angela 901-361-0089 with questions.

ShaZam's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation fee. ShaZam is heart worm negative and is on a monthly heart worm preventative along with Advantix for fleas and ticks.

ShaZam is living with a foster family in Tennessee. He will travel to his new home by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly professional transport service to the northeast (VA, PA, NJ, CT, NY, ME) and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
