Red is 12 years old. His family lost their home and they surrendered him to the shelter. But no sad shelter story here, as one of our volunteers saw him being quiet in his kennel and took him for a leisurely stroll. Leisurely is just the speed of this old man. He was introduced to a big dog, a little dog, and even a cat…his attitude was “ok, so what, it’s a dog; it’s a cat; what’s the big deal?" We decided this old man is ready to retire and live out his golden years in comfort. Maybe you're close to your own golden years and want a companion to join you. Or maybe you just enjoy taking leisurely strolls. In either case, Red could be your perfect match, all he needs is a couple of short walks and a soft bed and a home to call his own! Red is up to date with shots and micro-chipped.
