Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update: As of a few months ago, I was adopted into a wonderful family. Unfortunately, their 10 year old girl made me very nervous...maybe I am remembering a young child who was not nice to me. The family tried everything to get me to like their daughter, but had to sadly return me to rescue. Thus, at this time, I would rather be in a household without children under 16, as I did like the older teen in the household. I am now around 1 year olde.....ORIGINAL POST: There I was, watching the others get adopted...and I was an adorable puppy too! In Louisiana, there are a lot of Labs, so I was overlooked. I went into a very busy foster home, and only knew that I would love to be someone's baby (yes, I think I can sit in laps!) In was in foster care, that is, until the folks at Little Paws 4 U heard about me. I was so happy when the rescue affiliate there (Martha) came to get me. She assessed me, and found that I am an affectionate playful Lab, who at around 1 year old , am still a puppy yet somewhat more settled. Martha cared for me, then made sure I made the transport to RI. The Little Paws 4 U folks came all the way to Louisiana to drive me to RI. I am here now, waiting for a home. I am right around 30 pounds now, and should weigh around 55 when grown. I have the endearing adolescent appearance, as I run, my back legs seem to catch up to the rest of me! I like to chase balls too.... and to play with other dogs. I would love a family which is around in the day, to attend to my puppy needs. A family with another medium or large, non-aggressive dog would be fine as well. My fee of 395. covers spaying, vetting to date, a Health Certificate, and transport to RI. I come with a blanket and collar as well. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA, Cape Cod, Maine, or are near Boston, Worcester or Fall River. Please call Judy at 401 640-0082. Would LOVE a furever family!!
