Profile: Parker is one of those gentle souls who just wants love. When we first met him in the San Bernardino shelter, we thought his face was swollen like from a bee sting. We soon realized Parker is a fantastic cross of Boxer and Shar Pei. What a face with lips for days! Parker spent the weekend with our volunteer and he delighted young and old on two and four legs. This silly youngster will fit into any home. He is good on leash, loves other dogs and kids and makes an excellent co-pilot on long drives.
Parker will be a conversation starter wherever you take him (he is the kind of dog that can go anywhere) with questions like “what kind of dog is that?” The best dog ever is answer enough. Parker is one cool dude.
