My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Max and I am a young adult mixed breed of some kind (shelter wrote staffordshire so that's on my potential breeds) who is looking for a forever home. I have very unique coloring and a great personality. I love people and my demeanor is generally calm. I don't jump on people. I'm well-behaved and potty trained. I am great on a leash. :)

I do well with other dogs, however I prefer calm ones that don't jump on me. Even when I react toward another dog, I back of quickly when my person tells me to. I am a people pleaser. I don't have any intense reactions to cats (as you can see in one of the collage photos) but may need further assessment before going home with one.

You can tell in one of the middle photos that I have a face that says I'm paying attention. The rescue thinks I would be a fairly easy dog to train commands which would be great for keeping my brain active and me happy. I love that time together. My people-pleaser personality means I'll probably learn lots of stuff with your help and I'll be the talk of the town. :)

My adoption fee is $75 and I come neutered, vaccinated (including rabies), de-flead, de-wormed, and heart worm tested (I am negative!). Please contact the rescue if you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting me. :) Have a great day! :D
