Prince's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Prince's Story...
Prince is roughly 6 years old. He is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. He has Progressive Retinol Atrophy so he is mostly blind. It does not slow him down at all. He is well adjusted. He loves to take walks outside and wants attention from everyone we pass. He likes to play with toys and loves treats!! He is up to date on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and has already been neutered. He is current on Heartgard and Frontline and microchipped. Prince doesn't let his loss of sight keep him from living the good life. He hopes you will give him a chance to show you what a great dog he really is. His adoption fee is $200 to help recover vetting costs. Please email saveourshelterdogsrescue@yahoo.com for an application and a chance to meet Prince!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince, a Covington Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Covington, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
