Coca's Story...
Next in line for spitfire, always right behind her sister in looking for things to check out. Always seeking people, loves to come and 'touch base' with you before more exploring. Loves to greet you when you walk in a room with loud purring. Always busy and on the move! Just a joy to watch her interact her world. She seems to enjoy the dog's clumsy attempts to play with her and tries to find ways to interact with them. Loud children don't bother her much. She has to come and see what all the fuss about.
Coca was born 5-21-14 and raised in a family home. She is white with tabby markings. Coca and her littermates will be available for viewing and adoption this Saturday August 30th at the Petsmart in McHenry from 11 til 2. All family members must be present at the time of adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coca, a McHenry Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in McHenry, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in McHenry.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McHenry already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McHenry breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McHenry paves the way for another one to be saved.
