My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Uno: 5 wk old Piebald: white w/ black & tan male, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 4", 2 lb. Born in rescue.
Uno is a cute little guy born in one of our volunteer's homes. He has ONE black spot on his back which earned him the name Uno. He was born July 5th and should be ready for his forever home near the end of August. His Piebald color is kind of unique and he is so dang cute with his one big spot. His unique markings are due to the fact that he is Min Pin mixed with Dachshund. He is as sweet and loving as any 5 week old puppy can be, but his personality will really begin to show over the next few weeks. All the pups will be vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, receiving heartworm preventative, started housebreaking, and started basic clicker training prior to adoption. As we would like to see him in a home as soon as he is ready, we are taking applications now. I remind potential adopters that puppies need housebreaking & training during the first several months after adoption, so please be sure your lifestyle allows for their education & feeding schedule. If your lifestyle finds you away from home more than 4 hours at a time, please consider adopting their mother Winter, or aunt Autumn, both who are sweet 11 month old puppies in need of homes.
Note: we prefer not to fly this boy.
