Ginger's Story...
Everybody needs a little Ginger to spice up their life. Ginger is a 7 year old purebred Wire Fox Terrier. Ginger's mom reluctantly brought her to Friendship because of a change in lifestyle. She does not have enough time for her. Ginger enjoys squeaky toys and stuffed animals. Ging likes other dogs, tolerates cats and would be best with older children. She pulls on a leash but is good using a gentle-leader leash. This baby doll enjoys car rides and likes to go in her crate for comfort. She is on medication for urinary incontinence and was kept in diapers when no one was home. She is house trained as long as someone is there to let her out. Ginger knows many tricks and is a very sweet dog. She also requires a special diet of grain-free food. She is even micro-chipped. Stop by and check out one of the sweetest girls around named Ginger!

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Elyria Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
