My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola is a 6 year old terrier mix that was adopted and recently returned. . Lola was returned because she was too active for her family. She was rough with cats and younger children so we do not recommend her to go into a home with them. This energetic girl likes other dogs but they should be younger to keep up with all her activity. An active family with older kids that would include her in their activities would be ideal for Miss Lola. She's a real sweetheart!

On September 04, 2014, Lola was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

Please contact Friendship at 440-322-4321 if you decide not to adopt this prison dog so they can take your name off the list.
