for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jack's Story...
Jack is a 10 month old light orange, male DSH. He is a cool cat - and he knows it! Jack was originally found as a orphaned itty bitty bottle feeder, raised, adopted and returned for being too "rambunctious". In other words, he is a spoiled teenager only child that is very independent and suborn. He has been in foster in a home with 2 dogs (one big, one tiny) and 2 other cats. He has adjusted wonderfully and foster parents say he is definitely become more affectionate - but still on his own terms. :) If you are looking for a kitty that has a mind of his own and does not require your attention 24/7 - check out Jack!! Requirement: Nice bathroom sink as that is one of his favorite hang out spots! ;) *Marked "no" on children - we believe small children might be too much for him but older, calmer children would probably work great as he loves to play!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Riverview Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Riverview, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Riverview.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Riverview already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Riverview breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Riverview paves the way for another one to be saved.
