Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WANTED: A loving home for an adorable puppy. My name is MARSHALL and I am looking for a deputy partner or a household of law abiding citizens! I may sound like a tough guy, but I am really just a sweet 12 week old Hound/ Labrador Retriever Mix. I promise to steal your heart. Once you look into my soulful eyes, you will be my prisoner of love! They are my weapon to get whatever I want! I have a handsome coat of black and white and the cutest of freckles! My foster family thinks it was a crime that I was a captive in a high kill shelter in Southern Indiana. With the help of some awesome volunteers, I was able to break free of the joint and relocate in IL. Now that I have settled in, my foster family is a witness to my charming personality. I am not much of a loner, but love to spend time with my people. I will be a constant companion as I protect others while I follow them throughout the house. If you are looking for a snuggler, look no further. I am all about the cuddling! If a human is not available, I do not have a problem cozying up to the other dogs in the house. I am often found curled up asleep with my foster canine siblings. I am in boot camp potty training and I am pulling my weight! I understand that I am to relieve myself outside and I am becoming a professional. I have had only a few accidents inside, but will need to have someone home most of the day to supervise my actions. You would think that my crate is a torture chamber and something to abhor. I will spend time in it if I have to, but will voice my displeasure. I am learning that the secure environment is not a punishment, but I would rather be a fugitive when it comes to my crate. Otherwise, I am a happy, playful puppy that is enjoying a life of freedom. I will benefit from obedience training and a patient and loving owner as I learn to be the best MARSHALL possible. Freeze! You have the right to be loved by me, MARSHALL. To find out more information, please call Peggy at 815-756-3719. The fee to adopt MARSHALL is $225 which includes up-to-date vetting and a certificate for a free microchip.
