My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Logan is a sweet, friendly boy who seems to love everyone he meets! If you are sitting, he will try to crawl in your lap to give you a hug and/or a kiss.

Name: Logan
Age: 3 yrs. old
Gender: Male
Mix/Purebred: Possibly pure
Housetrained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes
Heartworm Negative/Positive: Positive in treatment, full recovery expected
Spayed/Neutered: Neutered
Micro chipped: Will be at time of adoption
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with cats: probably not good with cats, has not been tested but prey drive is evident
Good with children: Yes

Logan has a sweet disposition and so far loves other dogs as well as people he meets. Poor Logan has recovered from an attack of either a pack of dogs or maybe even coyotes. The shelter was not sure what had happened to him. All of his wounds are healed and he is enjoying his regular walks now, and his limp is all but gone. He was soooo thin when he came to rescue he looked like a little skeleton, and being heartworm positive, he must have been on his own for quite a while. Despite all that, he has a gentle and trusting nature and just wants to be loved.

Logan LOVES to eat and is getting healthier and stronger every day. We are treating his heartworms and are doing the slow kill method on him now. He is expected to have a full recovery with no lasting side effects.

If Logan seems like the right dog for you, please apply and come out and meet this sweet boy!
