Briar is a 3 month old Shepherd mix, he is a sweet little boy that was rescued from an over crowded shelter. He did not have much interaction with humans and was shy at first. He has greatly improved in his foster home and is doing well.

He enjoys going for walks and meeting new people. He has lots of energy and loves to play.

He would do best in a home with another animal and/or an active family that has the time and patience to train him on basic obedience.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Briar, a Sacramento German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
