I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Cupcake's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cupcake's Story...
Cupcake is an energetic, loving 10-month old terrier mix. She has the most adorable ears that perk up when she is interested in something.

Cupcake loves being around people, and she really craves their attention and affection. She would do best in a home where people are there most of the day. She would also do great with another friendly dog.

Cupcake was piddle pad trained by her previous owners; we are working on getting her accustomed to outdoor pottying.

Cupcake does well with dogs, cats, and children.

Fill out an adoption application at http://www.illinoisanimalrescueinc.org/adoption-application/view/form.html.
All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, heartworm tested if age appropriate; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!
The dogs and cats are so very appreciative of your support. Together we can save these forsaken loving 'innocents' who are condemned to death.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cupcake, a Palatine Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
