Roscoe's Story...
rge fencedRoscoe's came to the rescue as a result of a divorce, neither are able to keep him separately and he was having to be left alone tied in the yard most all the time. Roscoe has grown up with kids, babies. He loves children and wants to be with them all the time. Has gotton along fine with other dogs, and was around cats when he was younger with no problems. He has a good disposition, and as with most Great Danes considered " Gentle Giants". He affectionate, playful and patient with children. He will find any means possible to escape from the yard if left alone too long, as he needs to be around people. Roscoe needs someone that knows the breed and willing to be confident, consistent" pack leader". with commands and training. Roscoe loves to ride in the car, and is a good passenger. A large fenced yard and kids to play with is Roscoe's dream.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Jackson Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
