Cosmo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cosmo's Story...
Cosmos is a FANTASTIC dog! As you can see in his pictures he is great with all other dogs and kids! He is maybe a little too interested in cats but not aggressive towards them. We estimate him to be around a year old and 60lbs. He is a beautiful smart dog that already knows how to walk nicely on a leash, sit and stay. Did we mention he is also house and crate trained? This beautiful guy can adjust to any situation, loves his squeak toys, loves to play fetch, and most importantly snuggle with his people! Are you looking for a guy like Cosmo? Please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net

Cosmo just recently finished hw treatment and should be heartworm free now with no long term issues. However until we can test at 6 weeks after treatment (Sept. 9th), he can only be adopted locally (Huntsville, Madison area). Cosmo has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. He is currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cosmo, a Marietta German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
