Bella's Story...
Bella is a fun, lively, friendly little girl who loves to have her tummy rubbed. She will readily turn over to make sure you can be sure to rub all around. It was reported that Bella is house trained, leash trained and kennel trained. She has lived with small children, 5 and under, and did fine. Her behavior around cats is unknown. She lived with a medium sized female dog, and seems to have lived in harmony. Bella is micro-chipped and can be registered with your information. She would love to have you come to meet her and see you are a good fit for her.

If you want to apply for Bella click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Valley Humane Society. Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Meridian Border Collie/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Shih Tzu for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Border Collie/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Border Collie/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
