Von D's Story...
VonD is a sweet little solid grey kitten, female, about 3 months old. Right now we are calling her a short hair but she may be medium hair as she is very soft. VonD is a playful grey kitten but is also extremely sweet. She loves to lay on your lap and be petted. She might wake you up at night to tell you how much she loves you and she definitely likes sleeping with you. She is very gentle as well. She is fostered with other kittens, cats and dogs and gets along with everybody. She would fit in well in just about any home.
She is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. She is fostered near Madison, AL. To meet her, please emall info@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Von D, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
