Pickles's Story...
Pickles is quite possibly the friendliest cat you will ever meet. She is a little lovebug who purrs constantly and will follow you wherever you go. Pickles is about 2 years old, spayed, tested negative for FIV and FeLeuk and up to date on her shots. Pickles had a bit of a rough life, She was shot by a BB gun but it has not affected her loving personality. She is great with kids and loves every person she meets. Pickles is ok with dogs that ignore her but she is not fond of dogs who want to sniff her and play with her. She feels the same way about other cats. Pickles is a polydactyl or Hemmingway cat. She has thumbs on her front paws. She loves to talk to you and will be your shadow. Pickles is littertrained, well behaved in the house and very happy go lucky. For more info you can email her foster mom Theresa at or call (814) 619-6793

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Somerset Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
