Camden is such a well-adjusted boy. We couldn't believe he was at the shelter. He is very friendly and easy-going. Camden gets along with everyone! There is no dog he dislikes and always greets everyone with a wagging tail. This boy was considered a shelter favorite. They pleaded for this guy to go to a rescue. He's an unassuming house guest and is quite the gentleman. Smart boy! Already doing great being house trained! He just made his way to CT and is currently in a foster home. We will be updating his bio as his foster home gets to know him.
If you would like to adopt Camden, please contact Corrie at doubledogcorrie@yahoo.com
Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
