Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Weight: 35 lbs

Good with cats: Not Tested
Good with kids: Yes
Energy Level: Medium/High
Polar looks deceivingly bigger in her photos than she is in real life. She is a ball of white fluff. She's a happy dog and full of energy. She enjoys playing with her foster homes dog and has adjusted well into her temporary home. She is an active little girl and will require exercise. You should see the way she rolls in the grass. She is fully aware that she is no longer at the shelter and living the good life.
If you would like to adopt Polar, please contact Corrie at doubledogcorrie@yahoo.com
Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
