Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Snoopy is an adorable, three-year-old, 19-pound, all-natural Schnauzer or mix with long ears and tail looking for a loving guardian.
Snoopy was relinquished to Chicago Animal Care & Control by his family. He lived with many children who taunted him, so he is a little nervous at first, especially around children.
Snoopy would be a perfect pet for a single experienced dog-lover or couple without children. He is very affectionate and sweet; he bonds quickly and lovingly with adults, but appears to be, afraid of children and other dogs (so far). Ideally he is looking for a home with a yard as he hasn’t yet been very well leash-trained, yet.
Snoopy is perfectly housebroken, but doesn’t appear to know any formal commands.
Snoopy is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and heartworm-tested. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill in the online application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305. You can also ask specific questions by contacting his foster mom Kathy at ksal7@att.net or 773-344-2714. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s. Snoopy is being fostered on the northwest side of Chicago.
