found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
He does not like to be approached by strangers and will skitter away to safety but, if that stranger is calm, quiet and will patiently sit on the floor for a little while, he will tip toe up to you, sniff a little, and then start giving tentative little licks. Once he feels that you are okay, he will hesitantly crawl up on your lap. If that goes okay and he decides you are perfectly fine, he suddenly transforms into an affectionate, cuddly, silly and playful pup who likes to wiggle around in your arms and get lots of loving and tummy rubs.
Really, he is a pretty typical Chihuahua in his approach and, if you are a Chihuahua fan, you’ll understand and can work with him so that he feels more confident around new people. Like so many Chihuahuas, once he is bonded with you (does not take long), he LOVES you, is a friend for life, and just cannot get enough of attention and snuggles. He values his friends very much.
Chili is confident and really great with the other dogs here, both small and large. He is not afraid of the big ones and makes friends easily. He will probably be happiest and at his best with a sociable companion dog who will teach him to trust new people more easily.
Since he is wary of the sudden touch of strangers, he will be best in an adults only household since little kids grabbing at him would certainly make him fearful.
Chili is 10 pounds. If you are ready to offer a cute little guy a stable home and have the patience to teach him to be sweet and confident with strangers, Chili will pay you back with tons of love and cuddles.
