Speedy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Speedy's Story...
Speedy's owner passed away recently, so she and her two cat companions Cinnamon and Khylie had to find a new home. She's brought joy to the adoption center, giving us regular opportunities to laugh.

This 4 year-old loves to snuggle in her bedding. Expect her to crawl under the covers, then pop out with disheveled hair and a not-quite-awake look when you call her name.

Speedy loves attention and getting pet and scratched around her ears, but she does startle easily (especially if she was sleeping). For this reason, she probably needs to live in a home with kids older than 10 years old and well-behaved dogs and cats, or you may never see her come out from under a blanket!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Speedy, a Gilbert Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
