Scout's Story...
My legs may be those of a basset hound, but my heart is all lab. My tail wags nonstop and I just love to love and be loved. So far I've been the perfect gentleman around my new foster sister, even when she's been a little snippy to me. She does hurt my feelings though when she barks at me. She has the most wonderful toys and I've managed to sneak a couple plus a few chew bones. I'm all white with beige tips have the cutest little beige freckles on my nose and paws. I was very good on the drive to get here but I wish we could have stopped and chased all those tumbleweeds. I'm still a little shy and like to hang close to my foster mom, but I'm already starting to explore my new surroundings and with a little help from my adoptive family will probably be as close to perfect as a dog can be. Oh and I am only a year old boy!

We require an application, phone interview, and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $225 and dogs over 9 months is $175. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Evergreen Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evergreen, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Evergreen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen paves the way for another one to be saved.
