My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Located in Groveland, FL.

Hi, my name is Lola and I am a sweet 15 month old girl who is looking for a new forever family.

My story is something of a sad one. I was saved from the kill shelter around a year ago as a pup. Not long after being saved, I found a new home with a wonderful older lady who had a senior dog. She wanted a new companion for her dog and for her so she picked me. I loved her soooo much. The three of us were inseparable. She loved me so much.

Unfortunately, my owner passed away suddenly and without warning. She was just gone. My 11-year old big sister and I were taken in by my owner's brother until we could find a place to go. He could keep my big sister for a little longer but he couldn't keep me because it was too much to keep a younger dog in the house too. It killed him to separate us but he had to do it. I came back to the rescue I was originally saved from and now I'm looking for a new home. I miss my mom so much and I'm used to a very quiet life so this whole thing has been a shock to my system. Despite that, I am doing GREAT and it's obvious that I was raised well.

I am house trained, crate trained, good with other dogs, and something of a little shadow (I love to follow you around and be at your side). I am in very good weight (could maybe even stand to lose a few pounds) and have known nothing but love for most of my life. I would make a wonderful family pet to the right home. I should be fine with children.

I come spayed, vaccinated, de-flead, and de-wormed for the affordable adoption donation of $75. If you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting me, please contact the rescue either through this listing or through the phone. 352-429-4077 or 407-947-9876 They are available all the time by appointment!
