My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bet you can’t resist his smile!

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Two years ago JJ was found as a stray, moved in with a lovely senior woman and enjoyed life to the fullest. Sadly his mom developed health issues that didn’t allow her to care for this adorable 4 year old Chihuahua any longer. Fuzzy Pawz is now dedicated to finding JJ the perfect forever home.

JJ is a very nice boy who loves to be with his person; he loves to sit in your lap or next to you and he likes to be held and cuddled on; oh and he’ll smother you with kisses.

Sweet, stocky, sturdy and a bit stubborn is how we’d describe this boy. He is very smart and knows “sit”, “wait”, “come”, “leave it”, and “down”; JJ is house trained and will alert you when he needs to go outside. He walks on a leash nicely and is crate trained. He even knows to wait to be invited into/out of the house. He is curious and alert and follows instructions easily.

JJ is very quiet; even when out in the yard with the bigger dogs he does not bark. He enjoys the yard and the other dogs but his preferred place is inside with his person. He needs time to figure out his relationship with other dogs and being little - he will employ the best defense is a good offense tactic. As long as the other dogs don’t overreact he finds his place easily.

Although he prefers adults he has been very good with a young girl he met recently. However we do require no children under the age of 10. He would do best in a calm household with or without other dogs.

He loves elderly people and seems drawn to them and this is not surprising since that is all he has known his entire life.

JJ is an incredible little dog and would make a great dog for someone who wanted a good companion.

If you can offer o the life he deserves please fill out the adoption application at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/

There is an adoption fee of $40 to adopt JJ

JJ is neutered, vaccinated
