Lucy's Story...
Hi my name is Lucy. Right now I am living in the Petsmart in Wayne, I am wondering why no one has found me yet to make me part of their family. I am a playful lovable kitty who also loves to sit on laps and the cat towers in the cat room. I love to play with the furry mice and the stuffed toys. Sometimes I meet all the people that come into the room and rub up against their legs, trying to get their attention. I really don’t want to stay in my cage any more. My biggest wish is to have a second chance, why don’t you come visit me I would love to meet you

I am current on her vaccinations, parasite-free, spayed and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. You can find me at Petsmart located at 57 Route 23 South in Wayne, NJ. We have scheduled adoption hours on Saturdays from 11 am - 6 pm and on Sundays from 12 am -6 pm. For more information or to make a special appointment to meet her please call Donna at 201-873-7533 or e-mail startkayne@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Elmwood Park Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
