My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 05/06/12
Leno is a happy, bouncy guy. Being a young dog, Leno can be a bit excitable at times. Consistent guidance, and possibly, formal training class would be beneficial. Watch him closely in the house initially as he learns the house rules. Leno interacted well with the other greyhounds. He responded well when meeting Jack Russell Terriers, but caution should always be exercised with smaller animals, especially outdoors.

Foster Home Update: What a sweet 2 yr old he is. He's very much still a puppy that has energy (for a greyhound) and loves to play. He also enjoys hanging out with the kids. He needs a home with a fenced yard and no small animals.

Foster Home Update: Leno is a super sweet guy who is excited to see you at every opportunity. He loves to play and be social, but when you tell him no, he quietly goes to his bed and lays down and gives you BIG EYES. On walks he's very interested in new people and animals. He may pull and jump up just to get closer and smell these new things. We've also been on several car rides and Leno still needs to be lifted into the car, but will happily leap out at the destination. We've been working on stairs and he has no trouble going up and down stairs on the deck, at the park, and other outdoor facilities, but he has yet to master the stairwell in the house (which we haven't tried, as we keep both dogs on the main level of the house).
Leno is also a family friendly dog. He has become my 3 year old boy and 7 year old girl's best friend. He is very patient and doesn't seem bothered by the loud ruckus they often ensue during the day. He plays with them and follows them around sweetly.
