My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

6 year old Neutered Male Siberian Husky.
He is so sweet & loving. His Foster parents were unsure how he would do with their 6 month old Husky/Shepherd, Nala. Much to their surprise he did wonderful! Nala is a puppy & is very playful so she would always go up to him & bother Kenai but Kenai wouldn't mind. He would just lay & let her jump all over him. He tolerates her & they love him for that. He was on the E-list for S5 which is the highest degree of aggression. We all didn't believe it for a second. His foster parents had a professional come out & reevaluate him & he passed with flying colors. She did the most obnoxious test on him & he didn't budge- no growling & no biting, & not even a slight sign of showing teeth. He does not like being in a kennel he will break it open & escape. Potential adopters MUST have a High fence because he does jump & will run out the door. He walks well with a special harness (which his foster parents will provide and a special leash) because he does squeeze out of his collar. He has currently gone through training but all he managed to get out of training was “Sit”, and “shake” but only if you have a treat smile emoticon Recently his foster parents have been working with him on not running out the door, he’s getting better but not 100% solved. He does not like bath tubs but is fine with a water hose and a kid swimming pool! Foster parents took him to petsmart to get groomed & they said he did great, talkative but great! Potential adopters must have Time for him because he does love to run around, so a big yard with a high fence is ideal. Overall he is a good boy who mostly keeps to himself & just loves to get walked & HIKING! He absolutely loves Hiking! He knows when he’s going he gets very excited. Recently he has shown aggression towards other dogs when they came close to his foster sister, Nala so proper training & knowledge of the proper way to introduce dogs is advised, a home with no dogs may even be better. He does well with children as long as they are children that are bigger than him. If you have smaller children in the house then I advise to just always watch. He’s never showed signs of aggression or had any accidents with smaller children but because his foster parents don’t have children they are unsure of how he will react with infants or toddlers. Please feel free to contact his foster mom with any questions. His Adoption fee is $200 he is up to date on his shots, neutered and microchipped. Noelani_8@msn.com
