Here's what the humans have to say about me:
There's nothing quite like puppy energy and silliness...and then they lie quietly on your shoulder breathing their warm baby breath. They're so pure and vulnerable that it's unbearable to think of them in a high-kill shelter! Boo, at only 14 weeks old and about 7 lbs (is estimated to be full grown at about 12 - 14 lbs), was facing the end of his life before it ever began. Farfel's Texas rescuers are compassionate and loving and couldn't turn their back on this puppy...they rescued Boo just in time. Boo is starting out with great energy...the excellent results of his temperament-testing ended with a transport ticket to Colorado and a new life. He's also incredibly beautiful...with the purest of white and striking caramel that have come out since he received a good, sudsy bath after his release from the shelter. No dog could possibly have softer hair than Boo! Boo is appropriately playful and inquisitive for his young age. He's so smart...very typical of the cross of two Terriers. He's bright and so loving...clearly having no memory of his scary start. Since Boo is just a baby, he's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show him the way. He has all the potential in the world to be an awesome companion - he has already formed firm friendships with his foster and all his human and canine friends. Boo is so engaging and friendly! He's perfect as a Meeter and Greeter at Farfel's when he comes to work with his foster dad. He only has a wag and a smile for all who walk through the door. He would be so fun and positive to take anywhere with the confidence that he'll have great behavior.
We're open to Boo finding his forever home with a retired couple or individual with lots of energy to train and enjoy a puppy. Boo loves gentle children with all his heart! He would love playing and outdoor fun...and then curling up at day's end with his family.
Boo is being fostered in Boulder, CO. Applications are currently being accepted for this fun, silly and so sweet companion and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com
