My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a truly amazing dog! We found Einstein alone, bald, underweight, and mostly blind and deaf in the shelter. It seemed like he didn't have a chance in the world before Friends of Rescue took him. He has since made a total recovery, has hair all over, and even dances after bath time. Einstein is estimated to be 13 years old and is looking for a loving home to retire in. He MUST sleep in the bed with his owners in his retirement home and prefers wet food please :) He is great because he is totally housetrained and doesn't mind any other living creature. He is mostly blind and deaf but gets around just fine. He does have a slight heart murmur, is on liver meds daily, and is on thyroid meds daily. Other than that this is a really healthy guy. We had his teeth cleaned recently and he had seven extracted and the ones left behind are healthy. Einstein weighs around 10lbs and spends a lot of his time sleeping. He really just needs a lot of love, a warm place to curl up, and someone to love him the rest of his days however long that may be.
Einstein is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but not picky about where he ends up.
