My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Energetic Emma is a real sweetheart! She and her companions Faye and Becky came to CAS in spring 2014 from UMASS. These female boer goats had been part of a breeding program for animal husbandry and veterinary students. When one of the students found out they were considered "spent" and slated for auction, she rescued Emma along with 2 other adult females and 2 babies ( who have since been adopted).

These days Emma enjoys basking in the sun, grazing on the hillside and frolicking with her herd. She is a real lovebug who is very used to people and craves affection. Emma and her friends Faye and Becky would love to come home with you! If you have a herd of your own you are looking to add to, or are interested in starting a small herd of your own then Emma and friends are perfect for you!
