Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scooter is an easygoing boy who would fit in pretty much anywhere. He is shy at first and avoids conflict – happy to be the last in the pack, he is a gentle soul who most enjoys eating chicken and getting plenty of cuddles.
While he loves to be in your lap, Scooter is just fine on his own. He is housetrained and can be left at home, either on his own or with other dogs. Scooter would be a wonderful companion for a human senior or someone looking for a low-maintenance pet. He suffers from a little bit of separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home with someone who is home a lot.
Scooter is enjoying retirement; he likes to hang out in his bed and snooze when you’re busy. He was surrendered for eye and skin issues. Scooter's left eye had to be removed and his skin is much better! He is really loving life more now that he is feeling better. Due to his limited vision, we think he'd do best in a home with adults or older dog savvy children.
