My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I am Millie. I was born sometime in 2012. I had a home with 2 other cats, but my owner boarded us with this rescue and never came back. So, here I am, waiting to get a new home. I am really a very happy girl. I'm busy and fun. I love people and get along okay with other cats. I would love to meet you, if you think you can give me a forever home. That's what I want this time! Love, Millie
Adoption fee: Cats that HAVE NOT been spayed/neutered are $80.00 Plus a $35 spay/neuter deposit

Adoption fee: Cats that HAVE been spayed/neutered are $100.00

All vet care is completed before adoption of a cat If the cat is older than 6 months. This includes but not limited to FIV/LEUK test negative, spay, neuter, and annual vaccinations, flea treatment, and ear mite treatments.

If interested in adopting please go to www.fewstepsfromhome.com and fill out an adoption application. Applications are found by clicking on the animal's pictures.

If you would like to help you can sponsor a specific kitten to be spayed/neutered or sponsor an adoption fee for a specific cat. We also need donations for vet care and also cat food. Please help us care for these animals.

The adoption fee we ask of adopters is not to pay for the cat. The cat itself is free! The adoption fee is used merely to reimburse our rescue for veterinary expenses that any responsible owner would spend anyway when bringing a new cat into their home. However if there are any funds left over from one cats adoption fee, it is used to help the next cat that comes along. Sometimes FSFH's veterinarian expenses on one animal will be less than this fee, but another cat might require several hundred additional dollars worth of care. Without being able to recover at least the minimal veterinarian expenses on our cats, FSFH could not continue to rescue. FSFH's fee does not cover the general cost of keeping a cat in rescue (food, equipment, etc.). FSFH relies solely on donations to cover all other expenses related to caring for their rescued cats.

Thank you for understanding.
