My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Fido. I am 12 weeks old and I weigh about 7 lbs.
I was surrendered to the pound by my owner with my friend Ellie, her sister Emily, and our beagle friend.
I am a very sweet and loving puppy.
Like most puppies, I LOVE other dogs. I am very playful.
I still needs lots of training, including house training. I need love, understanding and patience.
If you are considering adopting me, don't just look at my cute face and THINK that you want me. You need to be ready for LOTS of puppy shenanigans such as chewing, peeing and pooping everywhere until I am housebroken, whining for no apparent reason, and also stealing things...maybe very inappropriate things, or maybe something more like your heart... because with a face like mine, I will have your heart in no time. But remember, adopting a puppy isn't JUST adopting a puppy. It is about adopting a best friend, a family member and also, ultimately, adopting a DOG. I won't stay a little puppy forever. I will be the best dog that YOU train me to me. I can be the best dog in the world but you have to help me learn how to be the best dog in the world.
Please be prepared to provide me with a great home, dedicated to keeping me my whole life.
If you think you might be the perfect family for me, please call the pound!
Xoxo,
Ellie

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER AUGUST 20, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
**UPDATE** I WILL BE AT THE VET RECEIVING MY VETTING UNTIL FRIDAY AUGUST 29, 2014. I WILL BE BACK AND WILL BE AVAILABLE TO MEET POTENTIAL NEW FAMILIES ANYTIME AFTER 12:30 ON FRIDAY AUGUST 29, 2014.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
