COLT's Story...
Meet COLT!! Colt is totally adorable and looks like a teddy bear! Colt was about to be turned in to a kill shelter in Memphis, TN when a member of our team stopped his "owner" from taking him in there. Colt was doing no wrong at his old "home" and did not know why they were giving up on him. So now Wilson Animal Rescue has this cutie and the rest is history! Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Colt is in a foster home. He is one happy puppy and loves life. He is always smiling. Colt lives with another dog and does great. Adoption fee is $425 and includes all shots and vetting and transport from Memphis to your area and a microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COLT, a Chicago Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
