Oh, hello. Please call me Blake. I came to the rescue a few years ago when I was found hit by a car by the capital with numerous broken bones. A nice person came along but I hurt so bad I wouldn’t let them touch me. They put out a crate so I dragged myself into it. After surgeries with screws and plates in my back legs my body has healed. I admit it took longer for me to heal emotionally.
I have graduated from the prison dog training program. I am leash, crate and house trained. I know all my basic obedience. On a leash I will do whatever you ask. Off leash I love to play with other dogs in a fenced yard. You can pet me inside but I'd prefer not outside but maybe we could keep working on that?
I love supper time and can hardly wait. I am not a bigger talker, actually I am pretty quiet. I would like a job...maybe I could lay by your feet and keep them warm or maybe just be company or a friend for your other dog. You decide where I would fit best.
I am neutered, current on vaccinations, micro chipped and current on flea & tick preventative. I may need arthritis medicine later in life, I am not really sure. My adoption fee is 100.00 and you can fill out an adoption application for me, Blake, at dogsasfamily.com. I may not be perfect however I can still love you unconditionally. Can you love me?
