Crosby is male Wheaten Terrier/Poodle mix puppy only 4 months old. He has a fluffy, baby soft, apricot and buff colored coat that is gently curly and non-shedding. Crosby currently weighs 12 pounds and his estimated adult weight should be 22-26 pounds. Crosby is still very much a baby, learning about the world around him. He has a gentle, mellow personality and responds best to a tender touch and quiet, encouraging voice. Crosby is beautifully people oriented in an intelligent, observant way. He looks to his people for direction and will depend on you to show him the way. He wants a home where he is loved and protected. Crosby gets along very well with other dogs and likes easy going playtime. He is interested in soft doggy toys and will slowly investigate them one by one. He already knows how to walk on leash and is learning good potty habits. Crosby is also good with children, but again he prefers a gentle approach and easy-going snuggle time. As Crosby matures, we will no doubt become more confident and outgoing in his ways. He is currently quite passive and low key. Crosby rides well in the car and is good inside the home. He is a head turner for sure and is going to make an outstanding pet and companion. Crosby was brought in to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. He is a real gem and deserves a good life. Crosby is a healthy pup and ready for his new, loving forever home today!
Crosby’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Crosby is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Mary, Jerry and Holly and is ready for his forever home.
